Bisping Vs Yoel

UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has revealed Yoel Romero’s performance at UFC 205 has indeed earned him the next title shot. When Michael Bisping saw Yoel Romero plaster Chris Weidman.

It appears as though former rivals Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold are on cordial terms now. RVCA head coach, Jason Parillo, posted a video of the two men embracing each other when ‘The Count’ entered the gym. Rockhold has been training under Jason Parillo recently, who was Bisping’s head coach for a number of years.

Bisping also posted a video of him cheering on Luke Rockhold as he practiced a few drills on the boxing bag. Rockhold responded by asking his dog Lucy to ‘get him’. ‘The Count’ then posted a video with Rockhold’s dog and claimed that the canine liked him more than he liked Luke.

Rockhold and Bisping were involved in arguably the most intense rivalry in middleweight history. The two men faced each other twice in the octagon and have one win apiece. In November 2014, Rockhold submitted Bisping via guillotine choke to secure the win.

Luke Rockhold set to come back later this year

In a recent interview with Submission Radio, Rockhold announced that he would be coming back to fight once again.

Since 2016, Rockhold has fought only thrice in the UFC. he registered a TKO win against David Branch in 2017, followed by two back-to-back vicious KO losses against Yoel Romero and Jan Blachowicz.

Rockhold’s last fight was at light heavyweight where he was defeated by the current champion of the division. In the interview, he stated that he would most likely return to the middleweight division once again, but did not commit to it.

Rockhold also clarified that he would want to fight a top 10 opponent irrespective of which weight classes he returns to.
